- Hand washing is recommended
- Fill a clean sink or basin with cold water, add some neutral detergent and mix well. After hat is fully wet, leave it to soak for 5-10 minutes
- To maintain the color, use only a small amount of soap, and do not soak longer than recommended
- After soaking, remove the hat from the water and brush it gently with an old toothbrush to remove sweat, dirt or other stains
- If there are serious stains, dip the hat in a small amount of detergent and repeat the brushing. Gently rinse detergent off with cold water
- Wrap the hat in a large, clean towel, and gently press out the water. Then fold the towel, place it inside the hat, and put them in the shade to dry
- To maintain its shape, do not wring out or tumble dry in the washing machine
- To prevent color fading or deformation, do not dry in direct sunlight
