Wash inside out. Do not use fabric softeners. Close all zippers and velcro closures before washing. Do not pierce with needles. Once dry, tumble dry for an extra 20 minutes to reactivate water repellent treatment. Minimize spinning. Rinse twice ( detergent residues fabric water repellency).
