One evening after Supreme Master Ching Hai arrived in Japan She noticed the half moon in the sky was surrounded by a large circle of light. Master said”I have never seen a large circle of light like this before. Quick! Let’s make a video recording of it.” But neither the video nor regular camera could reproduce the same effect so Master decided She had to draw it. Within thirty minutes a pastel drawing that captures this rare moment was finished. The bluish-green background represents the evening sky. The golden moon and the scattered twinkling stars were surrounded by a circle of light so big that it could not fit inside the picture.
