The first ever Middle East Vegetarian Congress was held in Dubai with the public invited to engage in an interactive exploration of the plant-based lifestyle. Organized by the Middle East Veg Group (MEVEG) the event provided two days of seminars workshops and video telecasts with experts from around the world along with rejuvenating vegan cuisine. Supreme Master Ching Hai was specially invited to speak via live video-link followed by a question and answer session with attendees. The Supreme Master said that any government official who approves the vegan solution will earn thousands of zillions of spiritual merit points bestowed by Heaven.
